The joining instructions said we needed a little bit of fitness - hell fire - what they should have said is - "you need a top grade in climbing glaciers!!!". We had no idea how physical this would be and there were lots of very sore legs for the rest of this week!
These pictures are of the glacier from street level - can you believe how high this is!!!
