Here's our new pad

We've rented this privately from a really great guy and we hope to be here for quite a while. Its been so good to finally get everything unpacked although we've still got a bit to go.

The place is called Paddington and is very close to the city centre. Its very trendy and we're really lucky to have found this place.

Contrary to popular belief - not all places have swimming pools but we do!! It has to be the most wonderful thing - to come home in the searing heat and instantly cool off.

The summer here has actually been very cool (as we're told). Most days its been about 32 degrees - usually its about 38/40. We did have one day which went up to 39 degrees and we thought we were going to die!!

This is our street - its very quirky and has lots of quaint little cottages - most (like ours) have been substantially added to at the rear.
