We've got loads of news - not all good though!!
Neil worked for a company called Scottish Pacific Business Finance both in Melbourne and Brisbane. The company seemed to be accelerating down hill and loads of people were leaving (some were pushed!!) The stress levels got to such a point that neil decided that it was all too hard and when he raised it with his boss the response was "put up with it or leave!!" Naturally he left!
We really needed to take a step back and think about what life is about etc and was it worth it to work horrendously long hours with very little pay back - obviously the answer is no.
The good news though is that Neil starts a new job on the Gold Coast on Monday and he's really looking forward to it. The company and people seem really nice and although its a huge drop in dollars, he will earn commissions which could see us quite well off - fingers crossed!!!
Our other news is that we're having to leave our rental in Paddington - the land lord wants it back in September so so we'll probably move a little bit south of the city to make it easier for Neil to get to the Gold Coast (its about an hour drive each way).
Otyherwise all OK - Ray's work is crap but we're hoping to set up business shortly and he's talking to a few people about possible partnerships.
Here's some piccies of a day out on the bikes. We are now in mid winter and the temp gets to about 21 during the day with stunning clear blue skies. The bights get cold though - it has gone down as far as 5 degrees!!!! Bbbrrrrrrrr!!!!
One day it lashed it down with rain and we found these two little parrots huddled together on our back deck.
